This Godhead is revealed in the three individuals listed in I John 5:6-8; Ephesians 2:18 The Father, The Word, and the Holy Ghost. It is this collectors opinion that in the OT the Godhead was basically revealed in the form of a unified God, consisting of a number of beings as revealed in such terms as "Our" and "Us". Genesis 1:26; 3:22; 11:7 Plurality in the Godhead is also indicated by other means such as God speaking to God and God being with God from the Creation. Proverbs 30:4; Psalms 2:7; 45:6-8 But because of sin separating man from God it necessitated that Jesus take on the special role of the Intercessor between God and man. I Timothy 2:5; Hebrews 7:25 In the NT God was revealed in the humanity and life of Jesus. Because of Jesus taking on the form of humanity the makeup of the Godhead was revealed. The Father in His distinct person, the Holy Spirit as a distinct person, and Jesus in His God/human form a distinct person. Jesus had the role of Intercessor and the primary display of the care of the Godhead for mankind. Colossians 2:8-9; II Corinthians 5:18-19 This make up of the Godhead was less visible in the OT but more clearly revealed in the NT. The Godhead is one of the many mysteries of the Scriptures and will require the study of ages to understand it more fully. CO. See also Heavenly Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

god – false - "No misfortune is so great as to become the worshiper of a false god. No man is in such miserable darkness as he who has lost his way to heaven. It seems that an infatuation is upon him, for he has a false god. To turn this worship of the human, fallen, corrupt beings of earth to the only true object of worship seems a hopeless task. There are in our time continual repetitions of Belshazzar’s feast and Belshazzar’s worship; and Belshazzar’s sin is repeated when the heart, which God requires to be given to Him in pure and holy devotion, is turned away from Him to worship a human being, and the lips are made to utter words of praise and adoration which belong alone to the Lord God of heaven. When the affections God claims to cluster about Him are made to center upon earthly objects, a woman, a man, or any earthly things, God is superseded by the object which enchains the senses and affections, and the powers which were solemnly dedicated to God are bestowed upon a human being who is defiled with sin." Grace – Fall from – Grace is an abundant gift from Jesus without which we can not stand in truth nor accept Jesus as our Saviour.
