Millenium – A period of a thousand years that starts after the second coming of Jesus. During this period of time the righteous living and the righteous dead have been translated, and resurrected respectively, and taken to heaven with Jesus. During this period of time the wicked have all been slain and remain unburied for the thousand years. During this same period the saints are in heaven with Jesus participating in the judgment. When the thousand years are finished then Jesus, His city, and His Saints will return to earth. When He returns He will resurrect the wicked dead to face judgment. When the judgment is completed God will destroy the wicked,  satan and his angels, and this earth. Then He will recreate the heavens and the earth and we will see the creation with our own eyes. CO

The earth is described by Isaiah as turned upside down. Isaiah 24:1. This is in addition to the mighty earthquake described in Revelation 16:17-20 and Jeremiah 4:24,26,27. In addition the Bible describes the goal of God’s people to go to a heavenly land and a heavenly Jerusalem. Hebrews 11:8-10, 13-16; Galatians 4:24-26

Ministry- true- "To reach the people, wherever they are, and whatever their position or condition, and to help them in every way possible, this is true ministry." MH 156

Ministry - "...Ministry does not consist alone in preaching. Those minister who relieve the sick and suffering, helping the needy, speaking words of comfort to the desponding and those of little faith. Nigh and afar off are souls weighed down by a sense of guilt. It is not hardship, toil, or poverty that degrades humanity. It is guilt, wrongdoing. This brings unrest and dissatisfaction. Christ would have His servants minister to sin-sick souls." DA 822

Miracles – “In feeding the five thousand, Jesus lifts the veil from the world of nature, and reveals the power that is constantly exercised for our good. In the production of earth’s harvests God is working a miracle every day. Through natural agencies the same work is accomplished that was wrought in the feeding of the multitude. Men prepare the soil and sow the seed, but it is the life from God that causes the seed to germinate. It is God’s rain and air and sunshine that cause it to put for, “first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.” Mark 4:28. It is God who is every day feeding millions from earth’s harvest fields. Men are called upon to co-operate with God in the care of the grain and the preparation of the loaf, and because of this they lose sight of the divine agency. They do not give God the glory due unto His holy name. The working of His power is ascribed to natural causes or to human instrumentality. Man is glorified in place of God, and His gracious gifts are perverted to selfish uses, and made a curse instead of a blessing. God is seeking to change all this. He desires that our dull senses shall be quickened to discern His merciful kindness and to glorify Him for the working of His power. He desires us to recognize Him in His gifts, that they may be, as he intended, a blessing to us. It was to accomplish this purpose that the miracles of Christ were performed.” DA 367-368

Miracles – “The mighty miracles in Egypt (plagues) and at the Red Sea were designed to establish faith in Him as the invisible, all-powerful Helper of Israel, the only true God.” PP 316

Miracles – “ The angels of God are ever passing from earth to heaven, and from heaven to earth. The miracles of Christ for the afflicted and suffering were wrought by the power of God through the ministration of the angels…” DA 143

Miracles – “Every miracle that Christ performed was a sign of His divinity. He was doing the very work that had been foretold of the Messiah; but to the Pharisees these works of mercy were a positive offense. The Jewish leaders looked with heartless indifference on human suffering. In many cases their selfishness and oppression had caused the affliction that Christ relieved. Thus His miracles were to them a reproach.

That which led the Jews to reject the Saviour’s work was the highest evidence of His divine character. The greatest significance of His miracles is seen in the fact that they were for the blessing of humanity. The highest evidence that He came from God is that His life revealed the character of God. He did the works and spoke the words of God. Such a life is the greatest of all miracles.

When the message of truth is presented in our day, there are many who, like the Jews, cry, Show us a sign. Work us a miracle. Christ wrought no miracle at the demand of the Pharisees. He wrought no miracle in the wilderness in answer to Satan’s insinuations. He does not impart to us power to vindicate ourselves or to satisfy the demands of unbelief and pride. But the gospel is not without a sign of its divine origin. Is it not a miracle that we can break from the bondage of Satan? Enmity against Satan is not natural to the human heart; it is implanted by the grace of God. When one who has been controlled by a stubborn, wayward will is set free, and yields himself wholeheartedly to the drawing of God’s heavenly agencies, a miracle is wrought; so also when a man who has been under strong delusion comes to understand moral truth. Every time a souls is converted, and learns to love God and keep His commandments, the promise of God is fulfilled, “A new heart also will I give you and a new spirit will I put within you.” Ezekiel 36:26. The change in human hearts, the transformation of human characters, is a miracle that reveals an ever-living Saviour, working to rescue souls. A consistent life in Christ is a great miracle. In the preaching of the word of God, the sign that should be manifest now and always is the presence of the Holy Spirit, to make the word a regenerating power to those that hear. This is God’s witness before the world to the divine mission of His Son.” DA 406-407

Miracle of miracles - "If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." II Corinthians 5:17. Through the power of Christ, men and women have broken the chains of sinful habit. They have renounced selfishness. The profane have become reverent, the drunken sober, the profligate pure. Souls that have borne the likeness of Satan have become transformed into the image of God. This change is in itself the miracle of miracles. A change wrought by the Word, it is one of the deepest mysteries of the Word. We cannot understand it; we can only believe, as declared by the Scriptures, it is "Christ in you, the hope of glory." AA 476

Miracles – greater than – “Satan demanded of Christ a miracle as a sign of His divinity. But that which is greater than all miracles, a firm reliance upon a “Thus saith the Lord,” was a sign that could not be controverted.” DA 120

Missionary - "This woman (Samaritan women of John 4) represents the working of a practical faith in Christ. Every true disciple is born into the kingdom of God as a missionary. He who drinks of the living water becomes a fountain of life. The receiver becomes a giver. The grace of Christ in the soul is life a spring in the desert, welling up to refresh all, and making those who are ready to perish eager to drink of the water of life." DA 195

Mixed - mingling of substances.

Mixture of peoples - God is concerned about mixing Christians   and Pagans for the mixture always leads to rebellion against God. Ezra 9:2; Exodus 12:38; Nehemiah 13:3; Hosea 7:1-10

Iron does not mix with miry clay - State not to mix with church. (4 BC 1168; Daniel 2:41-43

Truth not to mix with error. Proverbs 23:30; Isaiah 1:21-23

Error can be truth not mixed with faith. Hebrews 4:2

Wicked to drink of the wrath of God unmixed with mercy.    Revelation 14:10

          See Mingled.

Moabites – Descendents of the illegitimate child of Lot’s incestuous relationship with his daughter. Genesis 19:37
